Winless Wazito take on KCB in Friday’s Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) hoping to turn around what has been a bad start to the season.
Wazito will be hoping to end the dominance of their opponents who they have faced four times and not won any, drawing two and losing two.
They are also in the relegation zone with two points and the poor form they finished with last season seems to have extended this season as they have won only one in their last ten league games. They will come up against last season’s runners up and their backline which has conceded the second most goals will have to be at their best to keep out KCB who have scored in all but one game so far.
KCB suffered an opening day loss but they have picked themselves up well and have now won two in a row. A win will temporarily see them move up to fifth place pending results from other weekend fixtures and will hope to continue their dominant record against Wazito.
James Mazembe who has now found the net in two consecutive games will hope to extend his purple patch against their struggling opponents, with him already equaling last season’s goal tally with twenty nine games left to play.
