Wazito FC head coach Francis Kimanzi has backed his side to come good following Sunday’s mauling by Kariobangi Sharks at Moi Kasarani Stadium.
Kimanzi received a baptism of fire in his first assignment as Wazito FC coach as they suffered a 4-0 defeat in the hands of hungry Sharks. The results moved them to the bottom in the Betking Premier League table.
Speaking after the match on Sunday, the gaffer congratulated Sharks for the win saying they played well.
“I want to congratulate them (Sharks), they played well. They were better than us and they deservedly won. We did not play bad either but there were elements of the old habits which we have to get rid of,” he said.
Kimanzi who took charge of the team days before the match said he had not had enough training sessions with the team.
“We only trained for a few days and we have not worked enough. We are getting started and we will come good, things will click soon,” he added.
Next for Wazito is a home match against Vihiga United on Friday 4th December.
