Wamalwa starts on the bench in Ulinzi team to play Gor Mahia

Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has named his team to face Gor Mahia in their Betking Premier League clash set for Saturday 12th December at the Nyayo national Stadium.

As he sends out his team for the first game of the season, the coach has named top striker Oscar Wamalwa on the bench, with Masita Masuta and Enosh Ochieng handed starts in the forward line.

Andayi, Muchika

Boniface Andayi and Bonaventure Muchika will once again partner in the central defence after doing so well together last season. Skipper James Saruni will start in goal, deputised by veteran former Gor Mahia keeper Jacktone Odhiambo.

Bernard Ongoima will shield the defence from a deep lying midfield position, operating behind John Kago, with Elvis Nandwa named on the bench.

The experienced Oliver Ruto is also named on the bench with Harun Mwale starting at left back, while Brian Birgen keeps his place at right back.
