ULINZI STARS TRAIN GUNS ON GOR MAHIA

Two of the three unbeaten teams in the league will face off at the Thika Stadium on Wednesday afternoon in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) catch up match.  The last five meetings have seen Gor Mahia win twice, draw twice and lose once.

Ulinzi Stars under the tutelage of Stephen Ochola have made a bright start to the season and have only dropped points and conceded in the 1-1 stalemate with Bidco United. It is the second time that they have scored consecutively in the first four matches of the season just as they did in the 2009 season and they will look to make it five when they face the record champions.

Their manner of their previous win although against a young AFC Leopards will see them approach this match with the confidence of causing an upset.

Gor Mahia have had a perfect start to the season and have only conceded one goal. They look like a different side from the one that lost to Tusker in the Super Cup with many of their new signings settling well into the team.

They have won all their four games and a win against their opponents will see them equal the perfect start just as they did in the 2019/20 season. A win will cement their place in the top three regardless of the weekend results as the league pauses for the international break.
