Tusker take on AFC Leopards on Friday at Thika Stadium hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Betking Premier League (BPL).
The last five meetings between the two have yielded two wins for each and one draw. They have faced two of the top four teams in their last two games and this game will make it three, with a positive result capping an unscathed record in a difficult run for them.
They face Leopards who are one of the three teams to beat them so far. That defeat was in the first game of this season but after that, they went on an unbeaten run of twelves game, drawing only two to perch themselves at the top of the league.
They were also bundled out of the FKF Betway cup by the same opponents and will hope to pull one over their rivals as they seek to extend their stay at the top.
AFC Leopards trail their opponents by eight points and a win will do them a world of good in their title chase.
They have the second-best defense in the league and without Benjamin Ochan between the goalpost, they’ll need to be at their best defensively to keep out the league’s most potent attack.
