SET -BACK FOR SOFAPAKA AS DUO RULED OUT OF KCB TIE

Struggling Sofapaka side will miss the service of two key players when they take on high-flying KCB in Saturday’s in a Betking Premier League (BPL) match.

Coming from back-to-back losses with pressure to bring to an end dismal results, Sofapaka will miss striker Timothy Otieno and custodian Abdoul Muobarak.

Timothy Otieno will miss the clash due to a knee injury sustained during the match against Nairobi City Stars. The forward is expected to be out for at least two weeks while Moubaraka is out due to suspension. The keeper was sent off on Monday after an unsporting behavior.

Despite the setbacks, coach Ken Odhiambo has expressed confidence with the players available for selection.

” It is a massive setback to miss your key players going into Saturday’s clash. Nonetheless am confident with the rest of the squad members and I believe they will fill in the void left by the two.

” We are delighted at the timely return of goalkeeper Simon Masaka who has been out due to illness and will step in for Muobarak.”

The match will be played at Ruaraka grounds and will be beamed live on Startimes
