Sofapaka hosts Posta Rangers in Saturday’s Betking Premier League match.

In round 26 of the league fixture, both sides will be heading into the fixture to collect maximum points from the tie.

The two teams come into the tie from dropped points in last week’s matches. Rangers went down to Kariobangi Sharks while Sofapaka drew with Bidco.

Home ground advantage
BatotoBaMungu will be hopeful to use home advantage in Saturday’s fixture. They remain winless in their last four away matches and will be looking to bring to an end to the win drought.

Jumas  absence

Sofapaka has been dealt a huge blow as they will miss the services of in-form talisman Lawrence Juma. The midfielder will sit out of the match as he will be serving a one-match ban having accumulated five yellow cards.

Three points separate the two teams, the hosts are on 29 points while the Rangers are on 26 points. The two teams are placed 12th and 13th on the log respectively.
Key men

Ken Odhiambo coached side will be banking on Timothy Otieno, Joe Waithera, and Pistone Mutamba upfront while stand-in coach Charles ‘Korea’ Omondi will be hopeful Francis Nambute, Dennis Oalo, and Greshone Likono will complete the mission. A win for either side will propel them into the top half of the league standing.
