Kariobangi Sharks have started the 2020/21 BetKing Premier League season on a high note but they will have to do without dependable defender Samuel Olwande for at least the next two matchdays due to injury.
Olwande limped off in the firsthalf of Sharks’ emphatic 4-0 win over Wazito FC on Sunday and will now be out of action for at least the next two weeks according to the club. He is therefore set to miss the away trip to Nzoia Sugar this coming Saturday and the home blockbuster against Tusker FC scheduled for Jamuhuri day.
William Muluya’s side will also have to do without Captain Eric Omondi for another match week, Omondi missed Sharks’ season opener due to sickness and his absence saw striker Eric Kapaito don the armband as he produced a Man of the Match performance with two goals and an assist.
Patrick Ngunyi is also another player on the treatment table at Sharks. The midfielder has been out since last season with knee ligament damage.
