Kariobangi Sharks defender Bonface Onyango has been ruled out of action for the rest of the season.
The club announced that the player suffered a supraorbital fracture on the right side of his face after sustaining a trauma in training.
“He is set to miss the better part of the second leg following the injury on his face,” the club announced.
Onyango’s absence will add more pressure on coach William Muluya who is also missing hitman Eric Kapaito due to injury.
Sharks suffered two defeats in a row in their Betking Premier League (BPL) title chase and will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when the competition resumes next week.
