Posta Rangers host Vihiga United at Thika Stadium in Tuesday afternoon’s Betking Premier League match.
The two teams have faced each other five times, with Posta Rangers winning twice, drawing twice and losing one.
The matches between the two have been historically low scoring as there have only been five goals in those contests.
Posta finally won against title chasing KCB courtesy of a Jackson Dwang brace to end their five-game winless run. They face second from bottom Vihiga United and if they avoid defeat, they will be mathematically safe from the relegation places.
They are only a point below defending champions Gor Mahia and after keeping a clean sheet against the third best attack last time out, they will hope to replicate the same against the worst attack in the league.
Despite that, their attacking prowess is also not anything to write home about as they have the second-best worst attack.
Vihiga United led against Ulinzi last time out but conceded twice after the hour for their sixteenth loss of the season.
They are one point away from safety but at the same time two points ahead of the bottom placed side who have a game in hand.
They should approach their final four games as cup finals since failure to pick maximum points will open up room for Mathare United to leapfrog them whilst condemning them to the last position which is the automatic relegation place.
