Mathare United coach Frank Ouna is weary of their opponents Kakamega Homeboyz ahead of Saturday’s Betking Premier League match in Nakuru.

Ouna said Homeboyz are a free scoring side whom they will need to be cautious against.

“They are a free scoring side, among the top lethal teams in the division and will be a worthy challenge for us as we enter the final rounds of the season hoping to secure our place in the league.

“I believe the key to any success in the premier league is to have a super first-half, you start to win the game with your assertiveness from the first whistle and that is what we intend to do on Saturday. If you look at the games we’ve lost, even the one against Homeboyz in the first-leg, we weren’t at the races from the start and got punished,” he said.

Ouna further said his side go into the match with fresh legs having not played for more than a week and whenever we’ve had a lengthy break, we have had a bit of success.”
