The first Betking Premier League (BPL) match at Nakuru ASK ground kicks off on Saturday afternoon.
It will be a top of the bill clash between title contenders KCB against Kakamega Homeboyz.
The Kakamega based club has picked Nakuru grounds as their home-ground after the government banned sporting activities in 13 counties in Western Kenya.
Despite the ban, Kakamega Homeboyz have not skipped even one fixture and were in the city last weekend where they lost 1-0 to Nairobi City Stars.
The last five meetings between the two sides have yielded three wins a draw and a loss by KCB.
Homeboyz were narrowly beaten in their last game and will hope to put that result behind them with a strong showing against the current league runners up.
They are yet to hit the heights of last season but have improved lately as they have won three in their last five games.
KCB will need to pick up maximum points to overtake league leaders Tusker who have two more points.
They won convincingly in the reverse fixture but will be wary of their opponents. They have four wins and a loss in their last five games and will hope to find inspiration from striker Derrick Otanga who has been crucial in the last five games.
