Kariobangi Sharks coach William Muluya has warned Kakamega Homeboyz to expect to lose when the two sides clash in Friday’s Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) match at Utalii grounds.
The two sides will highlight the return of the league after a four week suspension to deal with the rise in corona infections.
Speaking ahead of the match, Muluya said:” The last two seasons, Kakamega Homeboyz have always come here and picked maximum points. But i want to tell them this is a different ball game.
“We will treat them with utmost respect but that is where it ends. We have our ambitions and expectations and want to live upto them and so we are not taking any chances with them,” he said.
The match is another opportunity for the league’s leading goal scorer Eric Kapaito to add to his tally in a match that could go either way.
