Tusker coach Robert Matano says his side is determined to lift the Betking Premier League trophy this season.
The brewers have already picked a place in the CAF champions league having been at the top of the log by the June 30 deadline that had been set by Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
Speaking after his side beat Gor Mahia 2-1 on Thursday, Matano said they are already making progress towards lifting the trophy.
“At some point in the match against Gor Mahia, we had derailed a bit but realisd our mistakes and worked hard to do better and that is what gave us the result we wanted.
“Our fight towards winning the league title has just started. We are determined and have put our eyes on the prize inspired by the four wins we have picked up in a row,” he said.
The brewers have tough fixtures and on Sunday they take on fellow league contenders KCB. After that, they will invite AFC Leopards and Matano insists hard work will help them get good results.
“Hard work will be key and we know how to put in what is needed to get results. So it will not matter who we are playing against, we shall strive to give it our best,” he concluded.
