Tusker coach Robert Matano has challenged his players to give 100 percent in the remaining Betking Premier League (BPL) matches to ensure they stay in course for the title.
Matano who said the title is far from being won wants everyone to give their all in all matches and not to underrate any opponent.
“All matches are crucial for us and we have to play with very good spirit and determination,” he told the club’s website.
He also praised his players for bouncing back to winning ways after losing a crucial match.
“We lost one of the games in the second leg but we have bounced back to win four and this shows our spirit. We have to continue in that way. There is no small team and big team. We are all equal,” he added.
The brewers came from two goals down on Sunday to draw 2-2 with KCB in Thika and with it cut their lead at the top to just two points.
Tusker will represent the county in next season’s CAF Champions League after staying at the top of the log by the June 30 deadline when Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced it will send the name of the country’s representative to the continental body.
