Wazito coach Francis Kimanzi was a happy man after his side picked a point against leaders Tusker in Friday’s Betking Premier League (BPL) match at Utalii grounds.
Kimanzi said Tusker were better technically and tactically saying they would have performed better if his players had reached their peak fitness levels.
“Tusker were clearly the better side today and we are therefore glad to get a point from them. We are still getting there in terms of our fitness levels,” he said.
Tusker coach Robert Matano who was visibly frustrated said they dropped points and complained about the second half water break and claimed their opponents got cheap fouls.
This is the second draw in a row for the brewers who face a tough run in the horizon where they will face five opponents in the top ten in their next six games.
