Ken Odhiambo begins Sofa reign with Tusker draw

Tusker FC and Sofapaka FC played to a 1-1 draw in a BetKing Premier League matchday 6 encounter played at the outside pitch of the Kasarani Stadium on Sunday 3 January.

The game which was the first for new Sofa head coach Ken Odhiambo following his appointement from Bandari FC, saw firsthalf goals from Elli Asieche and Luke Namanda cancel each other out for a share of the spoils.

Odhiambo took the reins at Batoto Ba Mungu less than a week ago, replacing John Baraza who was forced to step aside after a lackluster start to the season.

The result denies Tusker the chance to move up to 2nd on the standings and now remain 3rd with 11 points. Sofa on their part move off of bottom place thanks to the point to settle on 11th place with four points.
