KARIOBANGI SHARKS READY FOR LEAGUE KICK-OFF AS COVID RESULTS RETURN NEGATIVE

All Kariobangi Sharks players have returned a negative covid test result signaling their readiness to resume playing their Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) matches.

The test was conducted on Wednesday and according to club chairman Robert Maoga all their players turned negative.

“We received the results today and everyone is fine. We are ready to get on the pitch and play,” he said.

Sharks take on Kakamega Homeboyz today at Utalii grounds as the league resumes after a four week suspension.

On Saturday, there will be four matches on the card. Western Stima invite Posta Rangers at Moi Stadium before Tusker takes on KCB at Ruaraka. Bidco will be at Mbaraki to take on Bandari while AFC Leopards host Nzoia Sugar at Ruaraka grounds.

Three other matches are scheduled for Sunday. Mathare United takes on Vihiga United while Gor Mahia host Nairobi City Stars and Sofapaka tackle Wazito.
