Kariobangi Sharks striker Eric Kapaito walked from the Football Kenya Federation Premier League end of season awards gala as the happiest man of the evening after bagging two awards at the event held at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi on Tuesday evening.
On top of winning the uncontested league top scorer where he finished the season as the only player to record more than twenty strikes with his 24 goal tally, the Sharks foward was also named as the Most Valuable Player for the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season.
Kapaito’s heroics in front of goal helped his Kariobangi Sharks side to a fifth place finish on 48 points.
In bagging this season’s most valuable double, the striker repeated his 2017/2018 heroics that also saw him bag the same awards.

The Lion as he is known also ensured Tusker got back on the continental CAF Champions League scene after a four year absence.
The Midfielder of the year award went to Sofapaka’s Lawrence Juma who finished third on the scoring charts with 16 goals and five assists.
