Kakamega Homeboyz FC have roped in Western Stima duo of Michael Karamor and defender Clinton Bulimo, both signing a two year contract with the club.
Stima, relegated at the end of the 2020/21 FKF Premier League season, is bound to lose more players in the coming days as top clubs in the division go hunting at the Lakeside outfit.
Bulimo, who plays both on the left and right defensive flanks, joins Homeboyz after just one season in the top flight. He had been roped it at Stima from tier three side Kisumu Hot Stars.
With coaching changes at the club, Homeboyz’s current tactician Bernard Mwalala is keen on patching up the areas that the club struggled in and with the duo in, will most likely release a few players.
Karamor on the other hand, also joins Homeboyz after just one season with Stima. He had however gathered some premier league experience with Sofapaka during the 2019/20 season. The burly centre forward comes in to compete for starting places with such names as Allan Wanga, Christopher Masinza and Kingsley Fasanmi.
Homeboyz have in the past confirmed European interest for their highly rated centre-back Sylvester Owino and with this in mind, might add another signing at the back should the Kenya U23 man leave. So far, the club has released Robert Arrot, Bonventure Stanislaus and Emmanuel Emuhe.
