On form Gor Mahia are back at Thika Stadium to face Wazito in Wednesday’s Betking Premier League (BPL) match.
The league champions will be seeking to make it seven wins in a row after stopping Sofapaka 1-0 at the same venue last Sunday.
Gor Mahia is on such good form and look unstoppable at the moment. They are sweeping away teams by having a mean backline and Wazito will need to be clinical as they were in their last outing.
Gor Mahia have won all four ties between them scoring seven and posting a clean sheet in all. They are third on the league and are still in the race to represent the country in the CAF Champions League as they are only five points off top spot.
Wazito on the other hand beat Kariobangi Sharks to stem their five-game winless streak. They are further down the league than they would have wanted and they’ll need to be at their best if they are to stop the hosts.
They are currently tenth in the league and coach Francis Kimanzi should address their scoring issues having scored only seventeen times in eighteen games played so far, the second fewest in the top ten.
