Frank Ouna has left his position as Mathare United coach despite helping the club survive relegation.
Ouna was instrumental in ensuring that Mathare United did not go down after having a tough Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) season.
He confirmed his move in a post on Monday an announcement that is likely to send shock-waves among diehard Mathare United fans.
“It is with overwhelming emotion that today, i announce i will not renew my contract. Let me take this opportunity to place on record my sincere gratitude to the club management, fans and technical bench.
“We achieved what we set forth to do. I leave with my head high. I believe i have left behind a capable technical bench and playing unit. All the best in your future endevours and all the best this coming season.”
Ouna has moved to Rwandese side Musanze for a period of two years. The Kenyan coach was unveiled on Monday by the club.
Ouna has also handled Sofapaka, Wazito and Gor Mahia in different capacities.
