city stars look to stop bidco

The two top two teams in the 19/20 National Super League will go toe to toe in the early kickoff at the Thika Stadium on Sartuday. Bidco United were the better side in their two meetings last season, drawing one and winning the other in a match that ended with tempers flailing which saw both clubs each have a man sent off for dissent.

Despite losing their opening match, City Stars have won their last two convincingly and will hope to extend Bidco’s four match winless streak stretching back to last season. Coach Muyoti seems like he is gradually understanding his players better and the form of teenage sensation Timothy Ouma will give them confidence heading into this match as he has already scored in all three games so far.

Bidco United have had a slower start to the league compared to their opponents and will be looking for a win to kickstart their campaign. After a barren draw in their first game, they lost narrowly in their second game and scored a late winner to avoid defeat against Ulinzi Stars last time out.

Their defensive rearguard contributed to their success last season where they had had the third meanest defense, conceding 0.875 goals per game and they will need to rediscover that form if they are to get anything out of this match.
