A barren stalemate was the result at Ruaraka grounds on Sunday as Posta Rangers locked horns with Bidco United in a BetKing Premier League (BPL) round 21 fixture.
The result meant that league debutants Bidco remained unbeaten for the season against the Mailmen, having won the first-leg fixture 1-0 in February.
With the draw, both teams remained separated by a point with 11th placed Bidco, now with 22 points, having the edge over 13th placed Rangers.
Rangers made their intentions known as soon as the 5th minute through Joshua Nyatini whose long range effort was comfortably dealt with by Edwin Mukolwe in the Bidco goal.
Looking to earn their fifth win of the campaign and revenge the early season loss to Bidco, Rangers looked the more menacing early on with Nyatini and Francis Nambute getting several looks at goal but none would come anywhere close to David Orem’s effort just three minutes from time that cannoned off the woodwork.
Attention now shifts to matchday 22 where Rangers have a midweek encounter on Thursday against Mathare United with Bidco hosting Vihiga United a day later.
