Bidco deny City Stars chance to go joint top

Bidco United held Nairobi City Stars to a 0-0 draw at Utalii grounds on Thursday in Round 4 of the BetKing Premier League (BPL).

A win for City Stars could have sent them to joint top on the log together with KCB FC and AFC Leopards at nine points each but unfortunately for them, they could not get the better of a familiar foe.

Promoted

Both City Stars and Bidco sealed promotion to the top tier this season after finishing in the top two positions in last season’s National Super League (NSL) campaign and in that successful season for both teams, Kawangware based City Stars managed to grab all six points on offer against their Thika based opponents.

Having managed to stop it from being a hatrick of wins for City Stars against them, Bidco still remain in search of their first win in their debut season in the topflight. Anthony Akhulia’s charges have drawn three of their four matches and now currently lie in 12th place.
