BIDCO, BANDARI CLASH FOR TOP FIVE PLACE

Bidco United play Bandari in round 27 of the Betting Premier League(BPL) fixture at Thika Stadium on Tuesday.

As the curtains draw closer towards the conclusion of the  season, Mombasa based side Bandari will be seeking to up their hunt for a top-five finish.

They have face a tough hurdle against a  Bidco United side who are out to have a decent finish in their maiden season. 

Placed eighth and 11th on the log, five points separate the two teams who are on 36 and 31 points respectively.

The two sides have been off form and have only registered a single win apiece from their previous three league matches.

In the reverse fixture played two months ago in Mbaraki, the teams drew 1-1 in the closely contested match.

Key men

Umaru Kasumba seems to be rediscovering his goal-scoring touch. The Ugandan alongside his fellow countryman William Wadri will be key for Bandari while Michael Orem, Eric Gichimu and Alex Juma will okay vital role for Anthony Akhulia coached side push for full points at home. 

Bidco United have already out-performed themselves this season by reaching the semi-finals of the Betway Cup. That performance should push them in their quest for a good finish in the league.
