Bandari turn to Sheikh Muhiddin after Odhiambo’s exit

Bandari FC has reappointed Sheikh Twahir Muhiddin as their interim head coach following the departure of Ken Odhiambo.

Odhiambo threw in the towel last week and is rumored to be heading to another Betking Premier League side. The Dockers have now turned to the veteran Twahir who served in the same capacity earlier this year before Odhiambo was named head coach.

Muhiddin, who also doubles up as Harambee Stars’ assistant coach has coached Bandari on several stints and is currently the team’s technical director. He has been tasked with guiding the Mombasa based side until a permanent head coach is appointed.

His first assignment was against Posta Rangers on Wednesday, a match that ended in a barren draw. Next for Twahir is a match against Western Stima at Mbaraki Sports Club. The game is scheduled for Sunday 3rd January 2021.

The Dockers currently sit 6th in the BPL log with five points after five rounds of league matches.
