BANDARI LOOKS FOR REDEMPTION AFTER CUP EXIT

After failing to defend the Betway Cup, Bandari have a chance to redeem themselves in the Betking Premier League (BPL) when they host Ulinzi Stars on Tuesday.

The coastal side know that they have nothing else except to do well the league and will be going all out for a win.

In the last five games between the two, Bandari has won twice, lost twice and drawn once.

This will be a matchup between two of the best goalkeepers in the league with Bandari’s Justis Ndikumana third on the clean sheets with seven while Ulinzi’s James Saruni is the best with ten clean sheets.

Bandari have faltered after looking as title challengers earlier on and were unable to defend their Betway cup after being beaten in the quarter finals.

They are winless in their last five and will host a resurgent Ulinzi Stars who are four points between them knowing anything other than a win will only create a bigger gap between themselves and the top clubs.

Ulinzi Stars have won twice in a row for the first time this season and will face a Bandari side that has looked weak of late. The soldiers  have lost ¾ of their games playing away but a victory here will continue their ascent to the top as well as restricting Bandari from performing their first double over them.
