Bandari captain Shaban Kenga suffered a horrific leg-break during his side’s 2-0 win over Western Stima on Sunday afternoon at Mbaraki Sports Club.
The veteran winger went off in the 48th minute after a collision with Stima defender, Junior Mukisa. Benjamin Mosha replaced him as the Dockers went ahead to register their second win of the campaign.
The club took to social media to announce the sad news.
“Unfortunately, it seems like Kenga has broken his left foot after a foul by Mukisa. We wish him a quick recovery. We, therefore, make a change, in Kenga’s place comes Benjamin Mosha.,” Bandari tweeted.
Everyone at Betking Premier League wishes Kenga a speedy recovery.
The win over the power-men lifted Bandari to 6th in the log with 8 points after six rounds of league matches. Next for the Dockers is an away match against Zoo FC.
