OFFICIAL: AFC Leopards unveil Czech national as new head coach

AFC Leopards have officially confirmed that Czech tactician Tomas Trucha will take the reins at the club ahead of the 2020/21 FKFPL season.

Trucha replaces Anthony Kimani who had been serving as caretaker coach since the start of the year with the former Kenyan international reverting back to his role as assistant coach.

The intricate details regarding the deal are yet to be revealed but reports indicate that the former Township Rollers coach, who is a UEFA Pro license holder, will be at the club for the next two years.

Leopards have been on a revamping mission ahead of the upcoming season making tweaks to the playing staff by bringing in seven new players as well as securing the futures of some of the players that had impressed for the team last season.

Leopards also recently confirmed the return of former Captain Duncan Otieno from Zambian champions Nkana FC (PIC: AFC Leopards)

The seven new arrivals are; Duncan Otieno, Peter Thiong’o, John Oyemba, Harry Mwendwa, Lewis Bandi, Washington Munene and Fabrice Mugheni.
