In the encounter held on Monday, March 4th, 2024, Police and Ulinzi Stars engaged in a goalless stalemate. Police entered the match boasting an advantageous position, having scored 10 goals across six consecutive matches while conceding only one. Conversely, Ulinzi, with a less favorable record of two goals scored and two conceded in their last six matches, managed to secure a point. Throughout the game, Kenya Police crafted more promising opportunities, spearheaded by South Sudanese forward Tito Okello. Despite his endeavors, Okello struggled to capitalize on several chances during the first half, including a left-footed strike narrowly missing the target and a well-saved header by Ulinzi’s goalkeeper, Michael Wanyika. Ulinzi’s offensive endeavors primarily originated from free-kicks, yet none posed significant threats to Police’s goalkeeper, Patrick Matasi.

The second half saw Ulinzi making a substitution due to injury, but they struggled to capitalize on set-piece situations. Although Leshan Mootian’s shot momentarily threatened Matasi, the game largely stagnated until the 77th minute when Abud Omar’s shot caused chaos in the Ulinzi box, leading to frantic clearances by their defense. In a bid to snatch a late victory, Ulinzi coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani made a triple substitution in the 80th minute, but neither side could break the deadlock, leaving them to settle for a point each. Consequently, Police FC maintains their fifth-place position, while Ulinzi Stars rise to 13th place in the standings
