Bidco United and Nzoia Sugar closed out the year by gaining a point off each other courtesy of a 1-1 draw in a BetKing Premier League (BPL) matchday 5 encounter played at the Utalii grounds on Wednesday 23 December.
Quickfire goals in the second half from Eric Gichimu and Philip Muchuma cancelled each other out to enable the result that still leaves both teams in search of their first win.
For a considerable amount of minutes in the second period, Nzoia were forced to battle on with 10-men, this after Felicien Okanda received his marching orders for a foul that the visitors felt hard done by.
Despite the valiant effort to come away with a point away from home, the result does little to boost the sugar millers on the standings as they now find themselves rock bottom with three points.
For Bidco, the point has them lying in 9th place with four points.
